Our team spent some time last week celebrating our 2022 accomplishments and planning for 2023.  Through several changes, which have become the norm, our team continues to adapt and grow.  We were excited to spend some time together and are looking forward to a great 2023!

Our team spent several days in Nashville, TN for the J.W. Cole Annual Advisor Symposium! We had a great time and enjoyed connecting with each other, the home office staff and many product vendors. 

We listened to incredible speakers dive into market and economic updates, personal inspiration and new product opportunities. We are excited to put what we learned into action... and we are looking forward to the next Symposium!

Our team was happy to engage with  Richard A. Ball, the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, along with Antonio Delgado, the Lieutenant Governor, at The Great NYS Fair,  in our continued efforts to support the NY Agricultural community. 

It was a beautiful day to have the whole team together at the barn! 

Congratulations to Nicole Cizenski on her recent promotion! Nicole has worked for years to help LWAofNY and its clients grow and prosper. We are excited to introduce her as our new Director of Operations.  As the Director of Operations she is responsible for ensuring the operations of the business run smoothly and efficiently by supporting the staff, which report to her. She will hire, train and develop new staff, help set firm and employee goals, and help remove barriers to operational success. 

This week will be Anita Urda's last week with us at LWA of NY.  Her retirement is bitter sweet.  We will miss her but we are excited to see what is next for her and her loved ones. Thank you, Anita!

Our team is working hard together to support our friends and clients during these challenging times.  While working from home isn’t easy our team is making the best of it!

We were happy to play a role in the 188th NYS Ag Society annual meeting last week in Liverpool, NY. A great group of panelists and speakers.

A great few days in Saratoga, NY with the NYS Ag Society and NYS Ag Society Foundation Leadership Experience. Special thanks to Hand Melon Farms, Saratoga Sod, McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds, King Brothers Dairy, Erin Hull, Director of Communication and Crisis Management at NYAAC, and Pat Hooker, New York State Deputy Secretary of Food & Agriculture, for their hospitality and willingness to share what they do and why they do it!

Sunday we were excited to play a little football (soccer) with the team at Frazee Farms. Great culture and morale builder. Nothing wrong with a little competition to provide Monday morning bragging rights! We are happy to support NY Agriculture. #NYDairy  #GrowNY

Over the last week our team was happy to volunteer and help support NYAAC and the Dairy Cow Birthing Center at the Great New York State Fair. We all had a wonderful time supporting the Dairy industry. 

Our Practice Manager, Nicole Cizenski, continues to add value to our team by furthering her education.  Please help in congratulating Nicole on receiving her NYS Life Accident and Health license.  She completed over 40 hours of study and passed the comprehensive state exam. We are excited for the step she and the team take every day to better serve our clients.

Congratulations to Mark Modzeleski on receiving his Certified Family Business Specialist designation. The Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation is a graduate level program concentrated on needs of closely held or family-owned enterprises. The curriculum helps build a better understanding of the unique challenges family businesses face regarding succession planning and business evaluation in the context of estate and legacy planning.

The Legacy Wealth Advisors team had a wonderful day touring Belltown Dairy and Fessenden Dairy, two great Cayuga County dairy operations. This was an incredible experience for our team, as were able to learn more about our clients and the industries we serve daily.
